 http://www.etsy.com/shop/Fuzzington

Featured Etsy Seller today is Fuzzington! They make the most adorable pipe cleaner animals I have ever seen! Below is their interview but here a few pictures first....

How adorable would this be for Halloween??

It is about that time of year, take a look at this cute ornament

I have to say this is one of my favorites, the whizzing dog..comes with the pee pee and the bone!

I have to say one of the most awesome things from this shop is that they will do a custom animal based off a picture of your animal! You can check out the details by following this link.

Now for the interview :)

1.First off, tell us a little bit about your self.
I am an engineer M-F, 8am - 5pm. At all other times, am a pipe cleaner artist. I make super cute pipe cleaner animals and creatures.
It all started with a trip to Hobby Lobby in Chicago back in early 2008. There was a huge selection of pipe cleaners there, and I bought a few for fun, not really know what to do with them. Then, it all sort of just happened-- a bag of pipe cleaners, a bit of serendipity, and I discovered that I had a hidden talent for transforming average pipe cleaners into works of art! I've had no formal training, did not read any books, it just happened!
Ever since then, I have made numerous little pipe cleaner critters that have brought smiles to people's faces! I specialize in miniatures, and custom pipe cleaner figurines of people's pets. I spend a lot of time twisting, bending, and fashioning pipe cleaners into cute realistic looking fuzzy friends using traditional wire-wrapping techniques. I use little to no glue in my work. My creations generally range from 1 to 2 inches in size.

2. Do you sell anywhere else besides Etsy?
I'm staying true to Etsy for now, but I'm thinking of starting my own website to sell my creations.

This is a two part question:
3.What do you think has been the easiest part about selling on Etsy?
I love it that Etsy makes it so easy to set up an online shop for free. Because of that I have not had to create and host my own online store. Etsy also has a good name, branding, and reputation, so customers trust buying from Etsy, which makes it easier for the sellers as well.

4.What about the hardest part?
Publicizing yourself! Opening and setting up your shop is the easy part. Getting people to visit your shop is the hard (very hard) part. I try a lot of things to get my name out there-- twitter, facebook, squidoo, craftster-- but it's really difficult sometimes finding a forum of people who love pipe cleaner animals.

5.What future goals do you have for your Etsy shop?
One thing I'm looking into is selling instructions on how to make my pipe cleaner animals through my shop. A lot of people have expressed interest in this. I'm working on some easy-to-understand instructables with full color photos that will teach people how to make their own adorable Fuzzies.

6.Where else can we find you? (Facebook, Twitter, Blog, Etc)
